Since 2012 WFN has worked with more than 40 jurisdictions across the country to provide Consolidated Plans, Analyses of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice (AI), Annual Action Plans, Housing Market and Needs Assessments, and technical assistance and capacity-building services.
For more than 30 years, WFN has delivered expert analysis, customized training and program management to municipal and county leaders in search of lasting community improvements. WFN equips local jurisdictions with all the necessary planning, research, application assistance, implementation, monitoring, reporting assistance and oversight of grants funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) through the Office of Community Planning and Development (CPD).

Nearly three of every four low-income households in San Bernardino County experiences cost burden (spending more than 30% of household income on housing expenses), overcrowding, or substandard housing conditions, problems that are even more acute for minority households. WFN’s Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice will use this and other data to identify barriers to fair housing choice in the County.
