WFN Client Wins National Planning Award
At its annual meeting in April, the American Planning Association awarded Greenprint 2015/2040 its Excellence in Sustainability Award. The Greenprint is a plan designed to enhance livability and sustainability through a unified vision for a regional network of green space throughout the greater Memphis region, which includes parts of three states. The planning effort was led by the Memphis-Shelby County Office of Sustainability and involved a broad base of committed community support. WFN Consulting is pleased to have developed a Fair Housing and Equity Assessment (FHEA), which was an integral component of the award-winning Greenprint plan. WFN’s FHEA explored issues of equity in housing choice and offered recommendations toward creating a more sustainable and livable region for all the Mid-South’s residents.
